Make your deposit

To reserve your place at RISD and enroll in the coming year, please complete the following critical next steps by their accompanying deadline.

by April 15

Submit a nonrefundable enrollment deposit of $500 to reserve your space (this is applied to your first tuition bill). Please use our secure online site to pay your deposit by credit card or authorize a bank transfer from your checking or savings account via the link below. You’ll need to indicate your name, RISD student ID number and the semester you will enroll (as indicated in your acceptance letter). All future tuition bills and other fees can be paid at this site as well. If you are unable to submit payment online, please contact the Admissions Office to arrange an alternative payment method.

by June 1

Complete a housing application via RISD’s Housing Portal if you wish to live in RISD Housing. You'll need a user name and password to enter this site—both will be sent once your enrollment deposit is received.

by July 1

Confirm that you have satisfactorily completed your undergraduate education by having your final, official transcript sent to the Admissions Office, if you have not already done so or you are receiving your baccalaureate degree this spring.

If the RISD program you are entering begins in June, you must submit your final transcript by June 1.

Change of address

Please notify the Admissions Office of your new address should you happen to move. We want to keep your records up to date to insure that you receive all mailed information.
